Summer heat makes a comeback Friday in Twin Cities

Summer heat will start to make a comeback on Friday in the Twin Cities, and last through the weekend.

Highs will be in the upper 70s to mid 80s on Friday, and will warm to near 90 degrees on Saturday in southern Minnesota. Some storm could be possible across northern Minnesota, but some showers could make their way towards the metro.  

Sunday will feature highs in the upper 80s with a chance of scattered showers and storms at night.

Highs will remain in the 80s on Monday and Tuesday, with the next rain chance set for midweek.
