Heavy rain early Sunday morning, then showers and a chance for t’storms.
PORTLAND, Oregon — The last Sunday of October is going to go out with a bang, with heavy bands of showers to start off the morning, followed by a chance to see thunderstorms develop through the day. Rainfall amounts will be heaviest just after midnight Sunday until about 4am. Daytime highs will be in the in the upper 50s to the low 60s, with scattered showers moving through on Monday.
We’ll see dry conditions Tuesday, with another system arriving by the afternoon and evening on Wednesday. For Halloween…we’re going to see showers this year, so you might need to cover up those costumes.
If you’re hoping for heavy snow for the Cascades, you’re going to have to wait, because it’s just going to be rain through the passes this weekend. The snow level will be 5,000 feet Sunday.
