(FOX40.COM) — The Stockton Police Department is investigating a shooting incident in the Seaport District on early Wednesday morning.
According to SPD, the shooting happened around 12:29 a.m. on Hazelton Avenue. The 51-year-old man was taken to a local hospital for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Police said the victim mentioned that he had been on Hazelton Avenue at the time of the shooting and could not provide any suspect description.
At this time, it is unknown what the cause of the shooting was.
