CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Fashion is uniting the community in Hampden County.

A local fashion designer is spreading positivity for love and art. He was born and raised in Springfield, and help a pop-up Sunday encouraging those who stopped by to stay inspired and go after their dreams.

“I would say like society and just what other people are going through and things I see and also my own journey whatever I go through I kind of just make it into art its like therapy for myself in a way,” says Darius Rosario, founder and owner of Sensitive Creatures.

The brand’s message promotes mental health awareness and encourages those who wear the clothing to be bold.

Rosario started by making a few shirts and now artists like Big Sean are wearing his products. Family and friends believe his drive is contagious to the community.

“He inspires the people, when you see one person do it another person will follow. It’s something great that the people need especially in a place like Springfield where it’s nothing but violence and crime especially with the younger generation it shows them he did it and I can do it too”, says Exavier Navado.

Rosario hopes to have a pop-up at The Big E next year. Those interested in learning more can head to his website.
