More than one thousand Duke Energy customers are
without power in Raleigh after a crash on Wednesday night.
Raleigh police said a car crashed into a power pole
along Millbrook Road. The driver was not injured.
Police have not released any information about
the driver or what caused the crash.
Officers said Duke Energy crews are working to
repair the outage. As of 9 p.m., 1,370 customers were without power.
Power is expected to be restored by 11:15 p.m.
