Showers and dry periods

[ad_1]

PORTLAND, Oregon — Showers back way off but don’t completely end overnight. They pop up again Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be in the low to mid-50s, lows will be in the 40s.

There’s also a slight chance of a thunderstorm from roughly Salem south Tuesday.

We string together a few dry days beginning Thursday, look for partly to mostly sunny weather with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Saturday looks like the sunniest day.

Rain returns Sunday afternoon and continues into Monday. This is s a cold storm from the northwest. By Monday, the snow level drops as low as about 1,000 feet.

There should be several feet of new snow in the Cascades from Sunday into early next week.
