See & Hear Beethoven In a Whole New Way in November’s Beethoven 360 | Scoop

[ad_1]

Enjoy A New Perspective on Beethoven and the Orchestra on November 7 & 8 with the CSO

Gather around the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra at the Booth Playhouse and experience the Symphony — and Beethoven himself — from a fresh vantage point.

Ticket holders will be seated all around the Orchestra, so you’ll see the conductor and musicians more closely than ever. You will gain a rare view into the music-making, while following Beethoven’s journey from the anguish of confronting his deafness to the surprising joy and hope of his later works.

Through theatrical and musical storytelling, you’ll enter into the world of the man behind the marble bust — to feel what he felt, to grapple with his despair, and to marvel at his triumph, from excerpts of his earlier music culminating in a full performance of his buoyant Symphony No. 8.

In an experience that blends concert and theater, revealing Beethoven’s humanity as much as his genius, you will join the CSO and walk with Beethoven — from darkness into light.
