Scottish Folk-Pop Stars Nathan Evans & The Saint PHNX Band Release ‘The Wedding’ Ahead of ‘Angel’s Share’ Album – Culture Fix

Nathan Evans and Saint PHNX ready their collaborative album Angel’s Share for release on January 16th, giving us a further taste of the album with new single The Wedding.

The Wedding is set to be a firm favourite with fans, with bouncing up-tempo production, a chorus with big pop hooks, and fast-paced anthemic instrumentation.

The album is set to feature hit tracks Milarrochy Bay, Arabella and Cotton Eye Joe. The collaborative group have found success with songs that fuse classic Scottish singer-songwriter charm and traditional, with the energy of a classic pop banger. Bringing in further traditional instrumentation and big vocals from the Scot stars help this musical fusion really stand out.

Album release notes share: “After co-writing the UK Top 40 single ‘Heather On The Hill’ which hit over 100 million streams, and selling out a UK/EU tour to the tune of 25,000+ tickets, Nathan Evans and SAINT PHNX have teamed up for their first collab album as a folk/pop band.” It continues: “They were awarded the ‘Artist of the Year’ at the 2025 Scottish Music Awards, sold out their show at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro Arena in minutes, and with major festivals and a world tour under their belts, they’re kicking off an exciting new chapter.”
