Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run involving two vehicles at the intersection of Marysville Boulevard and Del Paso Boulevard.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento police are investigating a hit-and-run crash after a person was struck and killed by two vehicles on Sunday evening.
According to the Sacramento Police Department (SPD), officers were notified of a pedestrian being hit by two vehicles at the intersection of Del Paso Boulevard and Marysville Boulevard shortly before 6:30 p.m. The driver of the second vehicle stayed at the scene of the crash, however, the first vehicle fled before officers could arrive. The pedestrian died at the scene.
SPD detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit have taken over the investigation. According to the SPD, the intersection of Marysville Boulevard and Del Paso Boulevard is currently closed.
