The musician shared: ‘Recreational’ is about giving myself the hedonism I so desperately desire but struggle to allow myself, and envying other people who can give it to themselves so freely. It was born from a debaucherous weekend at a festival where I stepped inside this world. This is the first track to be released from my mixtape and marks a new era, inspired by performance, on and off the stage.’
