We’ve reached a preseason game that’s going to be very difficult for Hornets fans to consume. It’s on the road and it’s not being broadcast by a Bally partner, so there’s no one to broadcast the game locally. Good luck trying to watch it if you care enough to go digging for it.
The Hornets have had four days off, which may have given Cody Martin and Nick Smith Jr. enough time to recover from their injuries and make their preseason debuts. I haven’t seen any word on their statuses yet, but they have both been nursing relatively minor injuries. Mark Williams is out for sure though; he’ll be reevaluated for the start of the regular season.
The Hornets lost the first preseason meeting between these two teams in heartbreaking fashion. Surely they have revenge on their minds for tonight.
