TKG Developments will build Aderra, a senior living community for residents aged 62 and older, within the Audubon master-planned community in Magnolia.
Located in Audubon’s Heron Run district, Aderra will feature homes priced from the low $300,000s. An additional monthly membership fee of $2,895 will cover utilities, transportation, housekeeping services, home and yard maintenance and three chef-prepared meals daily.
Aderra’s first phase of development includes 104 homes that range from 1,362 to 1,740 square feet.
“We are addressing a critical gap that exists in the senior housing market,” TKG President Kip Dornhorst said in a press release. “The truth is that mom and dad want to stay in their home for as long as possible. At Aderra, our goal is to make that happen, by providing a home that comes with the support services needed for them to maintain the lifestyle that they’re used to.”
Aderra amenities will include a clubhouse and service center. Residents will also have access to broader amenities in Heron Run and the greater Audubon community.
“Audubon’s multigenerational design means our residents can live near adult children and grandchildren who choose to purchase homes in the same community,” Dornhorst added. “This creates opportunities for seniors to maintain their independence while staying connected to their families.”
