SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The 23-year-old Sacramento State student who went missing in Los Angeles April 3 has contacted her family, according to her mother posting to Facebook Saturday evening.
Noelle Lynch was last seen leaving an apartment building in Los Angeles without any personal property days after leaving her Sacramento-area home April 1.
Her mother, Kellie Lynch, posted to Facebook thanking everyone for their help and giving the update.
“We would like to extend our gratitude for all of your prayers for locating our daughter Noelle,” she wrote. “Those prayers have been answered and Noelle has reached out to us.”
Noelle Lynch’s parents say she was in a car accident in Los Angeles and while her car was totaled, she wasn’t hurt.
Her parents said they booked a hotel room for her near LAX, where the crash happened, but she didn’t stay there. They said her phone was found at the airport.
The family is asking for privacy at this time and have not released any other information.
