Police searching for suspected DUI driver who crashed into Highland Park home during chase

HIGHLAND PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Police are searching for a suspected DUI driver after the person crashed into a home in Highland Park and took off running.

The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. Sunday, when officers were in pursuit of a possible DUI suspect.

Police told Eyewitness News that a few minutes later, the driver crashed into the front of a home near Piedmont Avenue and N Ave 60.

The suspect, who was not immediately identified, took off running and remains at large.

Police don’t believe there was anyone else in the vehicle. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Los Angeles Police Department.
