Pinellas County suspends emergency operations due to debris from Milton

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — Pinellas County officials announced early Thursday morning that the county will remain without emergency response due to widespread downed power lines, trees and debris caused by Hurricane Milton.

Large sections of roadways adjacent to US-19 are currently flooded. 

Residents are advised to avoid the area.

Officials said the county will remain without service until further notice.
