Pete Davidson‘s return to Saturday Night Live has been put on hold.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that Saturday’s episode with Davidson and musical guest Lil Uzi Vert had been canceled.
“The previously announced Saturday Night Live hosted by Pete Davidson and musical guest Lil Uzi Vert is cancelled due to the writers’ strike,” NBC confirmed in a release. “SNL will air repeats until further notice starting Saturday, May 6.”
Last year, Davidson exited the long-running sketch show in May after eight seasons.
Due to the current writers’ strike, several productions are feeling the effects of the dispute between the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) and the Writers Guild of America (WGA) labor union.
