People gather to demonstrate against U.S. Immigration operation sweeping Charlotte – WCCB Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A large group of people have gathered in East Charlotte Tuesday evening to demonstrate against Customs & Border Patrol agents currently conducting operations across the city that started over the weekend.

Agents have arrested over 100 people in the immigration crackdown deemed Operation Charlotte’s Web. Citizens have gathered throughout the community over the past week in efforts to speak out against the operation.
