Pedestrian hit on I-90 early Friday morning

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – A person was hit on I-90 early Friday morning.

The incident took place at about 3:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes near Superior Avenue in Cleveland.

The driver remained on scene and had damage to the windshield. EMS reported a male was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. There was no word on his age.

Several lanes of the interstate were temporarily blocked. The Ohio Department of Transportation reports all lanes were reopened and the scene was clear at about 5:30 a.m.
