An unidentified pedestrian was hit and killed on Saturday.
WASHINGTON — An unidentified person was hit and killed by a driver on I-295 on Saturday around 7:50 p.m.
Metropolitan Police Department reported to an accident near Exit 1 Laboratory Road, southwest. Which is not far from MGM National Harbor Hotel & Casino and Topgolf National Harbor. Prince George’s County officers also reported to the scene.
When officers arrived on scene, the pedestrian was unconscious and not breathing and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver remained on scene.
According to Metropolitan Police Department, the person’s identity has not yet been confirmed. It is also unclear why the person was on the highway.
