The pajama pants and shorts were sold at Groove, J & S Kidswear, Just Between Friends, Mortons and Stella Mara stores nationwide and online.
WASHINGTON — Roughly 18,700 Julie and Judah pajama bottoms were recalled Thursday due to a “risk of burn injuries to children,” according to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The CPSC said the pajama pants and shorts do not follow mandatory standards for flammability of children’s sleepwear. No injuries have been reported at this time, the recall said.
The pajama pants and shorts were sold at Groove, J & S Kidswear, Just Between Friends, Mortons and Stella Mara stores nationwide and online at julieandjudahaccessories.com and marcusadlerny.com from March 2023 through May 2025 for between $16 and $36.
The bottoms had various prints including fuzzy heart, gummy bear, star multi, candy, graffiti, sprinkle, sprinkle, smiley flower, shooting star, ribbon, cloud and others. See all the impacted designed here.
Pants were sold in small, medium and large sizes while the shorts were sold in small and medium sizes. “Julie and Judah” appear on the main label sewn into the pants and shorts, the recall said.
Customers are asked to stop using the pajama bottoms and contact Marcus Adler Glove for a refund. The recall urges people to destroy the bottoms and mark them with the work “recall.”
Consumers will be asked to email a photo of the destroyed garment to info@julieandjudahaccessories.com and can throw the recalled pants away once they get their refund.
