Hudson House, the acclaimed group of Dallas-based restaurants known for American classics, blue cheese martinis and oysters, is soon coming to Southlake.
That’s right, Hudson House will open its second location in Tarrant County.
Hudson House is known for its East Coast comfort food. The restaurant’s name comes from Hudson Valley, the region is known for its farm-to-table culinary scene. Guests can enjoy New England Atlantic lobster rolls or specially picked oysters flown in daily.
Vandelay Hospitality Group launched Hudson House in 2017 in the Dallas neighborhood of Highland Park.
Fort Worth got its very own in December 2023 along Camp Bowie Boulevard. There are also locations in Frisco, Los Colinas, Addison, two in Houston and three more in Dallas. A West Village location is slated to open by the end of this year. And Southlake will be Vandelay’s 11th Hudson House.
Hudson House was also one of the most-booked restaurants in Fort Worth during the month of September. And in 2024, the Lovers Lane location in Dallas was named one of the top 100 restaurants in the country by OpenTable.
Here’s what we know about Hudson House coming to Southlake.
When will Hudson House open in Southlake?
According to the company, the Hudson House in Southlake will open in summer 2026.
The exact opening date will be announced closer to the launch.
Where is the Hudson House in Southlake?
The new Hudson House will be at 1131 E. Southlake Blvd. in the Park Village shopping center near the intersection with South Carroll Avenue. This location was previously a RA Sushi restaurant.
Neighboring restaurants include Gloria’s Latin Cuisine, Taverna Rossa, Luna Grille and Malai Kitchen.
Hudson House menu highlights
A meal at Hudson House averages $20 to $30 per person.
Some of the menu highlights include:
- The Cheeseburger: thin patties, American cheese, pickles and Hudson sauce.
- Chicken Parm: creamy tomato pasta and reggiano.
- American Tuna Tower: fresh ahi, avocado, cucumber, local greens, and wasabi vinaigrette.
- The Bouquet: spread of East Coast oysters, shrimp cocktail with chipotle remoulade, princely-cut snow crab claws, and tuna tartare.
- The Classic: Bleu & Gold has vodka, olive juice, bleu cheese salt and housemade bleu cheese olives.
- Lemon Drop: lemon vodka, fresh lemon topped with Limoncello foam.
- Spicy Mexican: reposado, jalapeño, cucumber and fresh lime.
- Honorable mentions: The “World’s Coldest Martini,” frozen bellinis, a classic Manhattan.
Hudson House also offers a bar-only happy hour on weekdays from 3 to 6 p.m. This includes half priced martinis, bellinis and wine by the glass. And for bites, $3 oysters or a $10 cheeseburger.
