Deputies responded to Feather River Boulevard for a report of armed robbery, according to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department. The victim told deputies that he had arranged to meet with the suspects through social media to sell them several pairs of his Jordan shoes.

After the victim and suspects arrived at the agreed location, the victim showed the shoes while one suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded the merchandise.

The suspects left the scene with eight pairs of the victims’ Jordan shoes, valued at approximately $2,000, according to deputies.

After deputies took over the investigation, they searched both suspects’ residences and recovered five of the eight stolen pairs of shoes—one of which the suspect was wearing at the time of the arrest, officials said.

The firearm used in the robbery was also recovered and determined to have been stolen out of Yuba City.

Both juvenile suspects were arrested and booked for charges related to the armed robbery, the sheriff’s department said.
