The Bogalusa Police Department said a 15-year-old was shot and killed outside of a football game on Friday night. Officers report that approximately 18 to 20 shots were fired and that there were three people exchanging gunfire. One of them was the victim. The shooting happened outside of the Bogalusa football stadium during a matchup between Bogalusa High School and Jewel Sumner High School.The police chief told WDSU the victim was initially taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died. According to a post on the City of Bogalusa’s Facebook page, the situation was quickly under control because of the strong police presence at the game.This is a developing story.
