One dead and one injured in Dorchester shooting

One person is dead and one was injured in a shooting in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston on Monday.

Boston Police say the incident took place at a barbershop on Washington Street at Erie Street.

Both were transferred to a local hospital where one was pronounced dead.

Authorities don’t believe this to be a random incident.

No arrests have been made at this time.
