Omar Rudberg returns with his first new music since his early 2025 single I’m Not a Boy, in commanding new single Dying. The release continues to reflect Omar’s vulnerable yet powerful musicality, delivering lyrics written by Isaac Dunbar and Tommy English with a poignancy. The lush cinematic production from Tommy English ensures the track further stands out as one of Omar’s most striking and memorable.
Omar shares: “For me, this song is about letting go and just singing straight from the heart. It’s something simple but at the same time huge – like when you can no longer hold back everything you feel. It contains both pride and vulnerability, and that’s what makes it so real. When I heard it for the first time, it felt obvious that I had to let it go, because it captures so much of what I myself have been through.”
The track comes accompanied by a powerful music video from Damon Baker which captures the themes of letting go, falling free and singing straight from the heart.
Omar will be accompanying Zara Larsson on her big European tour, which kicks off on October 28th in Munich. This follows his own solo tour of the UK and Europe earlier this year. You can see the dates of Zara and Omar’s tour below.
