ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– Market 32 and Price Chopper stores have kicked off its October round-up campaign in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Donations will help provide care and comfort to kids in the hospital.
According to the grocery chain, all donations will stay local, as Market 32 and Price Chopper will match all donations, up to $10,000.
“Each donation, no matter the size, helps bring comfort, healing, and hope to children and families across our communities,” said Pam Cerrone, Market 32 and Price Chopper director of community relations. “Together, alongside our customers and teammates, we’re helping Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals deliver critical care today, and brighter tomorrows for kids.”
The donations would benefit network hospitals, including:
- Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center in Albany
- Boston Children’s Hospital in Boston
- Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, CT
- Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital in Mechanicsville, PA
- Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla
- Mohawk Valley Health System in Utica
- Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown
- The University of Vermont Children’s Hospital in Burlington, Vt.
- Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse
According to organizers, the hospitals provide life-saving treatments, fuel innovative research, and fuel child life programs at over 170 hospitals in the United States and Canada.
