A masked man who pulled a baseball bat out of his pants and attacked a 47-year-old man in Harlem was busted Wednesday, police said.

Karim Azizi, 36, faces assault, attempted assault and weapons possession charges for the caught-on-camera attack Nov. 29 on Amsterdam Ave. near W. 148th St., cops said.

Video shows Azizi pulling a bright orange full-length baseball bat from his pants and whacking a man in the back of the head, an NYPD spokesperson said.

The blow knocked the victim to the pavement.

Dazed, the wounded man rolled onto his back as the attacker yelled, gestured and loomed over him, lurching at him with the bat as if he was planning a second swing

The suspect kicked the victim once while he was down and yelled at him as he sat up on the sidewalk.

NYPD released photos and video of a 47-year-old male that was walking in front of 1770 Amsterdam Avenue when he was approached by an unknown individual from behind. The individual removed an orange baseball bat from his pants and struck the victim about the head with it.

The victim told police he didn’t know his attacker. The two had argued shortly before the bashing but it wasn’t disclosed what the two men had argued about.

Cops released a video of the attack on Sunday, asking the public for any information about the attacker.

Azizi’s arraignment in Manhattan criminal court was pending Wednesday.
