Northern California highway closed following shooting involving deputy

(FOX40.COM) — The Yuba County Sheriff’s Department is responding to a shooting along Highway 20 involving one of their deputies.

The shooting reportedly happened along Highway 20 around 3 a.m. on Wednesday near Hallwood Blvd, northeast of the city of Marysville.

The sheriff’s department said Highway 20 is closed between Hallwood Blvd and Walnut Avenue.
