Northern California forecast: Above average temperatures for Monday, when Delta breeze arrives
The streak of warm days continues Monday for Northern California.Monday’s high is forecast to be in the upper 80s, which is above average for this time of year. The next couple of days after that are forecast to be in the low 90s. Anyone seeking a break from using their air conditioner will get a chance Monday evening.Meteorologist Tamara Berg said a Delta breeze will begin around 8 or 9 p.m., so she recommends using your air conditioner to get through the hotter part of the day until the breeze arrives. Then you can leave a window open to cool off your home.In the Sierra, Berg said clouds will build in the afternoon in the Sierra with a slight chance of rain.
