NFL Week 13 four-fold
- Atlanta Falcons vs New York Jets – Under 39.5 @ 10/11
- Arizona Cardinals vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Over 43.5 @ 20/23
- Seattle Seahawks -11.5 @ 20/23
- Jacksonville Jaguars -5.5 @ 20/23
Forty feels too much for the Falcons and Jets
MetLife Stadium hosts two of the league’s most inconsistent offenses, and the numbers point firmly to the Under.
The Falcons and the Jets average an identical 19.9 points per game and with two second-string quarterbacks getting the start, this one could be a Thanksgiving weekend turkey.
Kirk Cousins is still settling back in for Atlanta while Tyrod Taylor is managing a limited Jets attack without star receiver Garrett Wilson again, so expect a low-scoring affair.
New York has managed to score more than 14 points only twice since Week 5 and needed two special teams scores to get up to 27 points in one of those.
The Falcons have fallen from playoff contention amid a five-game losing streak, only stopping the bleeding last week against the equally hapless Saints.
Both teams rank inside the top 13 for red-zone defensive efficiency, so those units could also play their part in keeping the scores low.
Cardinals and Bucs can cook in Tampa
Raymond James Stadium, on the other hand, should deliver points as the two worst defenses in the NFL over the past three weeks occupy opposite sidelines.
The Cardinals have hit the Over in seven of 11 games, conceding an average of 37.3 points per game over their last three.
Tampa Bay, meanwhile, has allowed 26.3 points per game at home, and both sides enter on three-game losing streaks with defensive cracks showing.
Whether Baker Mayfield plays or Teddy Bridgewater steps in, the Bucs have enough weapons – including rookie WR Emeka Egbuka – to exploit Arizona’s secondary.
Combine that with Jacoby Brissett’s willingness to stay aggressive, and the Over looks the sharp play.
Seahawks should take flight against battle-weary Vikings
Seattle are 8-3 ATS this season, close to being the best mark in the league, and they’ve covered in three of five at home.
Sam Darnold threw for 244 yards and two touchdowns last week, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba exploded for 167 yards and two scores.
Minnesota, by contrast, have dropped three straight and sit at 4-7 ATS, with rookie QB J.J. McCarthy struggling badly.
The Vikings average just 14 points per game over their last three, and facing the Seahawks’ top-five pass rush at Lumen Field is a nightmare spot. Seattle should cover comfortably.
Jaguars can jump all over Titans
Jacksonville are 6-5 ATS and have won two straight, including a road victory in Arizona despite turnovers.
Trevor Lawrence threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns last week, while Travis Etienne continues to fuel the ground game with over 800 rushing yards this season.
Tennessee, meanwhile, are 1-10 straight up and winless at home, though they have covered three straight.
Still, the Titans average just 18.2 points per game in Nashville and concede nearly 30 points per game at home. Against a Jaguars team chasing playoff seeding, expect Jacksonville to cover the one-score spread.
