New SoFi Credit Cards: Everyday Cash Rewards and Essential Card

Two New SoFi Credit Cards

SoFi is piloting two new invitation-only credit cards, the SoFi Everyday Cash Rewards Credit Card and the SoFi Essential Credit Card.

The SoFi Everyday Cash Rewards Credit Card earns 3% cash back rewards on dining (including takeout and delivery apps), 2% on grocery stores (including online delivery), and 1% on everything else.

The SoFi Essential Credit Card is designed for members that are interested in improving their credit without the surprise fees and gotchas from other banks.

These cards are not publicly available for application, and I don’t think many readers will be looking to apply. If you have received an invitation to apply for these two products, and wish to do so, you can follow the instructions you received via email. 

The initial SoFi credit card application is a soft credit pull, which will bring no impact to your credit score if you get declined. However if you’re accepted, SoFi will run a hard pull which may impact your credit score.
