CHICAGO — Wine Women and Dementia, a new documentary on PBS, offers viewers a look into the lives of over 16 million unpaid family caregivers across the United States, shedding light on the emotional, physical and financial toll it can take.

The film also explores how caring for loved ones can foster a sense of community and strength.

Director and Producer Kitty Norton and film subject Ashley Norton joined WGN News on Saturday morning to discuss the new film and how it came to be.
