CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) –  Halloween is a week away and many events are happening this weekend, but what if you still don’t have a costume?

Most of the last-minute costume ideas can be created from items that you most likely will have lying around the house or can be completed with one or two items that you can buy online just in time for Halloween.

If you are running out of ideas for a Halloween costume for either yourself or your kids, Good Housekeeping has posted over 100 easy DIY costumes for 2025. Some of them include the following:

1. Inside Out – There are nine emotions to choose from that can fit your mood with clothes you already have in your closet.
2. Peppa Pig – Pair a red or pink dress with rain boots and a DIY pig nose.
3. Elphaba from ‘Wicked’ – Dress in a black dress and a witch hat with green makeup.
4. Cat – One of the easiest costumes is being a cat. Pair a cat ear headband with a tail. Extra points for applying whiskers with a black eyeliner.
5. Smart Pants – Attach Smarties candies to a pair of pants with double-sided tape! You can even carry around a book to play the part.
