The National Zoo will be among a number of Smithsonian locations resuming normal hours Saturday after the federal government reopened this week.
WASHINGTON — After nearly a month of being closed, the National Zoo will reopen Saturday.
The zoo is reopening along with all of the other Smithsonian museums throughout the District after the president signed a bill reopening the government Tuesday night.
The grounds are normally open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in accordance with winter hours. Final admittance is 3 p.m.
Exhibit buildings are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All your favorites will be back to work at the zoo, including the giant pandas Bao Li and Qing Bao.

Admission is free at all locations except for Cooper Hewitt in New York City.
