National NFL columnist Michael Silver introduces his new book in Davis

DAVIS, Calif. (KTXL) – National NFL analyst and San Francisco Chronicle columnist Michael Silver introduces his upcoming book “The Why is Everything” at the Avid Reader in Davis on Tuesday night. Silver signed copies of his new book, answered questions from fans and even shared stories about his career covering the NFL that led to his new release.

Silver spoke to FOX40’s Sean Cunningham about the inspiration for the book, the relationships between two head coaches – Kyle Shanahan of the 49ers and Sean McVay of the Los Angeles Rams, their coaching tree, competition between them, San Francisco’s 1-3 start to the season and living in Davis.

“The Why is Everything” releases nationwide on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
