We’re tracking more fall-like weather… for now. But changes are coming! Here’s a closer look at when the humidity and rain chances increase:
LOCAL FORECAST:
Wow! The weather here in Boston lately has been superb with little hints of fall all around us. But some changes are on the way this week, including more humidity and more rain chances into the weekend.
As we continue moving through this Wednesday, enjoy the sunny, fall-like weather. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s with comfortable humidity levels. Tonight, we’ll see mostly clear skies and low temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Tomorrow, we’ll have more great weather with highs in the upper 70s. High temperatures will climb into the lower 80s Metrowest.
By Friday, a few changes will move into Greater Boston. In fact, you’ll notice a bit more humidity through the day. And an approaching cold front could produce a few morning showers on Friday. We don’t expect a washout. High temperatures will be in the mid 80s.
A little more wet weather is in the forecast for Saturday as another cold front pushes in. This time, though, we could see a couple of thunderstorms in our area by late afternoon into the evening. High temperatures will likely climb into the mid 80s. Then by Sunday it will start feeling like fall again with lower humidity and highs in the mid 70s.
TROPICS:
We’re keeping an eye on a tropical wave moving westward over the eastern Atlantic Ocean. The wave has a high chance of tropical development in the several days, possibly become a tropical depression by the end of this week or by the weekend. The next name on this year’s Atlantic Hurricane List is Gabrielle.
