Monday brings in sunny and warm weather for October

There will be areas of dense fog to start Monday morning, but lots of afternoon sunshine.
PORTLAND, Oregon — It’s going to be another gorgeous start to the week starting Monday. There will be areas of dense fog in a few locations with morning temperatures in the low to mid 40s, but looking into the afternoon, it’s going to feel a little more like summer than fall with highs around 80 degrees. We’ll cool off a bit for Tuesday with a slight chance to see some showers by midweek.
By the later part of the week we’ll see a little more sunshine with above average temperatures as highs climb up to the low 70s by next weekend.
