Miguel has kept us waiting since 2017 for his follow-up album to War & Leisure, but this wait is nearing its end as the R&B hearttrob reveals new album Caos. Arriving on October 23rd, Caos will contain new tracks including the freshly dropped New Martys (Ride 4 U) a slow-burning R&B jam and previously released soulful Always Time.
Miguel shared: “To rebuild, I had to destroy myself. That is the core confrontation of Caos, Through my personal evolution, I learned that transformation is violent. Caos is the sonic iteration of me bending that violence into something universally felt.” This may be a reference to Miguel’s previously announced album Viscera – however, it’s not known if the album was scrapped or simply renamed to Caos.
In the years in which we have awaited the full twelve tracks from Caos, Miguel has shared EPs Te Lo Dije, which dropped in 2019, and Art Dealer Chic 4 in 2021.
