McDonald's Big Mac has a new twist — chicken

Move over, McChicken!

On Thursday, McDonald’s unveiled the Chicken Big Mac, a reimagined twist on a fan-favorite.

Initially introduced at select restaurants worldwide, the Chicken Big Mac will debut at McDonald’s across the U.S. beginning Thursday, Oct. 10. 

Yes, all the ingredients are the same, with McDonald’s informing customers that it’s not a Big Mac.

But act fast. Like other special menu items, the Chicken Big Mac will only be available for a limited time (looking at you, McRib) while supplies last.

Recently, McDonald’s extended its $5 deal through December of this year and said it would offer additional deals this fall, including free medium fries every Friday with a $1 minimum purchase and $1 10-piece Chicken McNuggets between Nov. 4 and Dec. 2.
