(KRON) — An interesting combination, but two giants in the fast food and music industries are joining forces. McDonald’s is teaming up with the biggest boy band in the world: BTS.
McDonald’s is launching its “TinyTAN Happy Meal” on Sept. 3, the company announced in a news release. The Happy Meal will feature a set of “lovable characters inspired by the seven members of BTS.”
According to McDonald’s Senior Marketing Director Guillaume Huin, the Happy Meal will have two different sets of toys. One of them will have the members wear outfits from the original BTS McDonald’s commercial from 2021. McDonald’s also dropped its “BTS Meal,” which features menu items from the commercial: Chicken McNuggets and cajun and sweet chili sauces.

The Happy Meal will be available in more than 60 countries, including the United States, according to McDonald’s Instagram. The fast food giant advises fans to “check with your local McDonald’s for launch date.”
The collaboration comes amidst recent news of BTS’s highly anticipated comeback in 2026. BTS has been on hiatus due to members having to serve their mandatory military service. They are expected to drop an album and go on tour in 2026.
This isn’t the first time McDonald’s dipped its hand into pop culture in a collaboration. Earlier this month, McDonald’s announced a Hello Kitty x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Happy Meal.
