Marriott International plans new developments in Central and Greater China, the company announced Friday. AC Hotel by Marriott Suzhou is set to open this December, and The Ritz-Carlton, Wuhan is poised to open by the end of 2024 and will be the brand’s first entrance into Central China.
The AC Hotels property will offer 135 guest rooms, a meeting room and flexible spaces throughout the property.
Located on the higher levels of The Yuexiu Global Financial Center T5 Grand A Office Tower in downtown Hankou, the Ritz-Carlton in Wuhan will included 205 guest rooms, lobby-level meeting rooms, and 3,707 square feet of event space, including a 2,230-sq.-ft. ballroom.
Marriott International operates 15 hotels across Suzhou under eight brands, including Four Points by Sheraton, W Hotels, Renaissance Hotels, Marriott Hotels, Le Méridien and Element by Westin. Marriot’s Ritz-Carlton brand will be a first in Central China.
