Authorities are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man accused of killing his grandmother and assaulting a Craven County deputy.

Multiple law enforcement agencies have been searching for Dominic Liam Connelly for weeks.

Deputies say Connelly killed his 72-year-old grandmother and stabbed a deputy at a fast-food restaurant the week of Oct. 25.

Drones, helicopters, dogs and trail cameras have been used to search more than 3,000 acres of land and more than 450 structures in the search along Highways
17 and 43.

One week ago, authorities said Connelly was confirmed to be
alive and hiding out in a heavily wooded area in Vanceboro. Authorities said they believe he is still in Craven County.

Connelly was last seen wearing beige coveralls, possibly
taken from one of the abandoned buildings or vehicles.

People in the area are urged to lock their vehicles, close garage doors, lock up sheds and do not
leave anything outside Connelly could use for food or hydration.

Anyone assisting Connelly will face criminal charges.

If anyone sees Connelly, you are asked to not approach him. Instead, call 911 immediately.
