Man taken to hospital after south Sacramento shooting
THE SHOOTER IS? RIGHT NOW, WE DON’T KNOW WHO THE SHOOTER IS, BUT THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS THAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A SILVER MUSTANG IN RELATION TO THE SHOOTING. THEY SAY THAT MUSTANG PULLED INTO WHISPER WILLOW DRIVE AROUND 530 THIS AFTERNOON. AND WE’RE TOLD THERE WAS AN ARGUMENT INSIDE OF THE CAR. NEIGHBORS TOLD DEPUTIES THE CAR STOPPED AND THE PEOPLE INSIDE GOT OUT ON THEIR STREET. AND THAT IS WHERE THE ARGUMENT CONTINUED. DEPUTIES SAY SHOTS WERE FIRED, NEIGHBORS SAY THEY HEARD ABOUT 5 TO 7, AND THE DEPUTIES SAY THAT SILVER MUSTANG LEFT THE SCENE. ANOTHER PERSON WAS SEEN RUNNING AWAY FROM THE SCENE AND WHEN DEPUTIES ARRIVED, THEY FOUND A VICTIM WITH MULTIPLE GUNSHOT WOUNDS. THAT VICTIM, THEY SAY, IS 30 YEARS OLD AND HE IS CURRENTLY IN LIFE THREATENING CONDITION AT THE HOSPITAL. NOW WE’RE ALSO TOLD THAT CAR IS NOT KNOWN TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD. NEITHER IS THE VICTIM. A man is in the hospital with life-threatening injures after being shot in south Sacramento on Saturday. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said the man was shot in the torso at least two times at a residence on Whisperwillow Drive, off of Stockton Boulevard.
