Man stabbed to death on Staten Island, person of interest in custody

A 38-year-old man was stabbed to death on Staten Island, police said Monday.

The victim was stabbed multiple times all over this body at a house on Union Ave. near Richmond Terrace in Mariners Harbor about 10:40 p.m. Sunday, cops said. His name was not immediately released.

A 58-year-old man described as a person of interest was taken into custody at the scene and is being questioned by cops.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the attack.
