PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A 36-year-old man was shot while playing with a gun in Philadelphia’s Feltonville section.
It happened inside a home on the 200 block of West Mentor Street just after 11 p.m. on Sunday.
Police say the man was handling the gun with a friend when it accidentally went off, shooting him in the arm.
The friend fled the scene before authorities arrived.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition. His identity has not been released.
Police say they have recovered the gun.
No charges have been filed.
