A person is in custody on Monday after a shooting in Raleigh sent one man to the hospital.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers received a call about a shooting around 5:52 p.m. on the 2600 block of South Wilmington Street.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound when they arrived. He was taken to the hospital. Police said the victim had non-life-threatening injuries.
According to authorities, one person is in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
