(FOX40.COM) — The Stockton Police Department is investigating a homicide after a man was shot and killed on Friday night in the Seaport District.

A 36-year-old man was involved in an argument with the suspect in the area of the 1600 Block of South Airport Way. During the interaction, SPD said the suspect shot the man.
After being transported to a local hospital, SPD announced that the victim passed due to his injuries.
SPD detectives responded to the cases and are currently investigating the homicide.
