A man was seriously hurt Friday morning when he was struck by a vehicle in Dedham, Massachusetts, according to the town’s police department.
The crash happened shortly after 5 a.m. in the area of Harris Street and High Street. Crews were able to help the 66-year-old pedestrian at the scene before having him rushed to a Boston hospital by ambulance.
His injuries were considered serious, police said.
Massachusetts State Police and the Norfolk County DA’s Office have been notified.
Additional details were not immediately available.
An investigation is ongoing.
