A motorcyclist died in a solo crash in Natomas, prompting a police investigation and road closures.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man died after a solo motorcycle crash in the North Natomas on Wednesday night, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Police said the crash happened before 8 p.m. in the area of Natomas Boulevard and North Bend Drive.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene by fire personnel.
Circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
The crash led to a portion of Natomas Boulevard being closed between North Park Drive and New Market Drive.
Police said the identify of the motorcyclist will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office after next of kin is notified.
