Man found with multiple gunshot wounds dies in Lodi

(FOX40.COM) — A 28-year-old man died after being found with multiple gunshot wounds early Monday morning, according to Lodi Police.

The agency said that at around 4:45 a.m. it received an alert from a gunshot recognition system in the area of Pine St. and N. Main St.

Officers who responded found the 28-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds.

Lodi Fire officials and emergency personnel provided medical attention, but the man died at the site.

Police said there was no threat to the public and that it appeared to be an isolated incident.
